In their last match, Kolkata Knight Riders lost a low scoring game at home against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They made three changes, altered their batting order and managed to post a target of 139. Gill batted lower down the order, Narine didn’t open, and Mavi only got the one over late in the innings.

Delhi Daredevils went to Mumbai to play an early evening game on Saturday and won the match by 7 wickets. Some excellent death-overs bowling kept Rohit, Pollard and the Pandya brothers silent and restricted Mumbai Indians to a sub-200 total. Jason Roy, who was called in for Munro, delivered a Man of the Match performance. He ended unbeaten at 91 off 53 deliveries to get the Daredevils off the mark.
