The first IPL match in two years in Jaipur was reduced to a 6-over chase due to rain interruption. The crowd will be hoping for a full match this time around as Rajasthan Royals host Kolkata Knight Riders – the only two teams who have managed to defend a total this year.

Rajasthan come into the match on the back of a 19-run win in Bangalore thanks to Orange Cap holder Sanju Samson’s man of the match performance. The form of D’Arcy Short and Ben Stokes, however, remains a concern for the team.

Kolkata Knight Riders returned to winning ways with a thumping 71-run win over Delhi Daredevils at home. Nitish Rana scored a quick-fire fifty and was ably supported by Uthappa, Lynn, and Russell as the Knight Riders posted their second 200 score of the tournament.

With 2 wins each, the two teams are level on points. KKR, who have played an extra match, have the chance to go top of the table with a win. RR, however, have a dismal Net Run Rate and would need to defeat their opponents heavily to achieve the same.
